Molson Coors - Brewery
The historic world-famous Burton-on-Trent brewery has been open since 1864 and is now operated by Molson Coors the 5th largest brewer in the world. The former Bass Charrington site was acquired by Coors in 2002 to become the UK’s second-largest brewer. A brewery has been on the original site for over 150 years due to the unique mineral property characteristics found in the local water supply. In recent years some of the original decommissioned buildings on the brewery site with Grade II listed status have been redeveloped for residential-led mixed-use.
