Established in 1935, we have extensive expertise in supporting clients with temporary access solutions to support working at height, in or around complex industrial process plants. We never compromise on safety and assist clients with inspections, site surveys, design drawings, supporting calculations, project programme development/management and general Temporary Works. Our residential team’s work on-site at industrial manufacturing and production facility plants throughout the UK for numerous global brands. To support clients with constructing new plants, reactive or cyclic maintenance (For example: pipe and valve access or replacement, thermal insulation, protective coating applications) or planned/emergency shutdowns. We understand the specific challenges scale, environment, and accessibility considerations create to safely operate within hazardous areas when erecting or dismantling scaffolding and implement the best practices

Enigma supports large-scale projects and operates one of the UK’s largest scaffolding asset bases. We further support industrial clients with integrated solutions including protective coatings, thermal insulation, and industrial cleaning services.

We collaborate with clients to develop bespoke (programme, inspection, and maintenance) plans based on their specific facility requirements to ensure efficient service delivery is achieved with minimal disruption when completing outages, turnaround, and statutory inspections. Our cost-effective solutions can be delivered individually or seamlessly integrated as multi-disciplined packages to mitigate the risk of downtime. Enigma is a founder member of the NASC (National Access & Scaffolding Confederation) and BSI accredited.

Our operational team provide support with programme management, scheduling, and labour/recruitment, along with any training requirements to assist continual improvement and efficiencies on-site. Enigma scaffolders hold CISRS qualifications and have undertaken professionally recognised training to work in hazardous and controlled environments when needed.

We draw on extensive experience gained from continually working in numerous factories, production facilities and industrial plants throughout the UK when solving complex problems. Enigma Industrial Services have robust management systems, and our teams have the relevant experience to operate safely around industrial and manufacturing equipment installations. Our Business Management System (BMS) processes cover all aspects of our BSI certification and are evaluated on a regular basis to ensure we continually deliver the highest levels of quality. The Enigma in-house QSHE team closely monitor and audit all work activities to keep everyone safe.
